Alethea O'Dell Director of Growth/Principal

Alethea O’Dell has more than 25 years of leadership experience in marketing and business development within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Throughout her career, she has focused on one goal: transforming technical expertise into effective business development. As Director of Growth, Alethea leads the teams responsible for shaping Delve Underground’s approach to pursuing and earning work, strengthening the firm’s pursuit infrastructure and building the systems that make growth sustainable and intentional. She develops and implements growth strategies, policies, and procedures for the company, and coaches and mentors seller-doers in their pursuits of complex infrastructure projects across North America, Australia, and New Zealand. Alethea’s leadership contributes to Delve Underground’s ongoing efforts to expand its market presence, respond to growing client needs, and reinforce its role as a leader in the underground engineering industry.

Alethea holds an MA in journalism from Indiana University and a BA in Spanish and English from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She is a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM) with an SMPS Fellow designation (FSMPS), the Society for Marketing Professional Services’ recognition of career-long contributions to professional services marketing.
